Erik Deckers to Present at Indy Big Bang PDF Print E-mail

profile_deckers_erikIndianapolis, IN – Professional blogger Erik Deckers will be presenting a two hour workshop titled “Blogging for Business” at this year's Indianapolis Big Bang networking event. Participants will learn how to use blogging to find more customers, increase the visibility of their brands and to get the word out about their products and services.

Business Blogging is a communication strategy where a business has key persons post articles on the Internet designed to talk directly to current and potential customers, investors or even political interest groups. “Blogs can be connected to social media like Facebook and LinkedIn to create an instant audience,” according to Deckers, “Most businesses don't understand how easy it is to get started with blogging and how quickly you can get results.”

Indianapolis Big Bang is a business and arts networking event event that seeks to help businesses and arts organizations connect to create high value relationships The Indianapolis Big Bang event features four business development workshops, four hours of networking, and a special Business/Arts dinner performance by Dance Kaleidoscope, Gregory Hancock Dance Theater, Kenyetta and (Re)Collective.

Tickets are available here.  The cost for the seminar is $15.

All About Indianapolis Big Bang PDF Print E-mail

Last time Linking Indiana did an event, we teamed up with Indiana Business Network to put on the first ever Indianapolis Chocolate, Blues and Business. The event was a resounding success with over 150 vendors and nearly 2,700 attendees.

I'm really excited about our next event:

Indianapolis Big Bang.

This time the focus is on leveraging the arts to grow your business.

It is my belief that the supporting the performing arts may be one of the best ways to create memorable experiences for customers, prospects and business partners. Supporting the arts doesn't mean you have to write big checks (although it is appreciated).  Supporting the arts can be as simple as buying tickets to a great show (more on this in a moment). Tickets to a live performance touch the soul in a way that logo imprinted alarm calculators never will. Why give your customers memories that fade when the ink runs out when you can give them memories that will touch them for life (and associate a lot of very positive things with your brand)?
